Well, I may have talked about how a Dollar Tree used to be in Whitewater in an older post, but NOW, here is some news…the chain is returning to the community soon enough!
That is right, a second Dollar Tree (although not in the same location as the one that used to be in the plaza mall years ago) is being opened soon enough.
Where the second Dollar Tree will be is by the Whitewater FortHealth Care Therapy building (the space by there had been an empty grassy field for many years).
Anyway, you also remember that Dollar General I talked about being built in an older spot from a few years ago? Well, you bet it is complete and now currently operating.
I learned from mom that Dollar General and Dollar Tree do like to be on opposite sides in the same community, in order to really be able to compete with each other more. That does sound somewhat interesting if you ask me, especially in, you’ve guessed, the community in which I reside in myself.
