Well, it’s FINALLY 2016, and now I’m finally 13 years old. Today was the last day of Winter Break, and I guess that means I’ll do only 1 Winter Break post. I know you were hoping for more, but I’ve been too interested in other things. Well anyway, in 1916, the Goldwyn Pictures studio filmed the lion logo for the first time. They filmed another lion in 1923. In 1924, Goldwyn Pictures teamed up with Metro Pictures and Mayer Pictures to form Metro Goldwyn Mayer studios. Metro and Mayer both liked Goldwyn’s logo, so they decided to make the lion […]
Goodbye, Sentry
My first (and only) post of November! I also talked about this Sentry closing because of the Wal-Mart next to it being more cheaper in my last post, but here I will talk about it some more. Some programs were meant for preschoolers, however. On April 1, 2002, the format was changed, and now little children programming was shown on it ALL the time. On the same day Viacom lanced The N, a network for teenagers. At 6:00 PM ET every night, Noggin would switch to The N, but in the morning at 6 AM ET, they would switch back. It went like this for […]
Some Great Past Times From When I Was Younger (and My Future Ahead of Me)
Well, it’s the last weekend of September 2015. In just a little more than 3 months from now, after 12 long years I will finally become an teenager. In June of 2011, most of my family and I went on a cruise trip for 10 days. On June 17, my parents, brothers, and I left our house and flew over to New Jersey. On June […]
